We are absolutely thrilled to announce the world premiere of our latest film, Awake, at this year's Edmonton Int'l Film Festival.

The film is an animated documentary pulled from Mahmoud Khalil's writings during a sleepless night in U.S. immigration detention. It's a story that reflects on the fragile promises of democracy, justice, and human dignity, themes that we can all relate to these days. Which is why, in Neon Zoo tradition, this film was brought to life by an incredible team of international artists. They poured their hearts, time and artistry into this film, and it shows. The best part of filmmaking is the community that is built along the way, and we're so lucky for ours.
