Prashanti Aswani

Prashanti Aswani is an award-winning director, animator and illustrator based in London. Being an Indian, born in Indonesia, raised in Estonia, and having called countless places home, she’s grown up seeing the world through a beautifully mixed lens—a perspective that’s weaved into her work. Her animations and illustrations often revolve around themes of race, identity, immigration and the female body.

She’s worked with a number of clients including BBC, TED-Ed, Amazon Prime and Meta. Her work has been screened at a number of festivals around the world including SXSW, Annecy, Raindance and more.
